Description
Chilli Mini Cart for HikaShop is a lightweight and responsive Joomla module that displays a floating shopping cart button with a live product counter.
The cart remains visible while visitors browse your website, providing quick and convenient access to the HikaShop checkout page. When a product is added to or removed from the cart, the counter updates automatically without requiring a page refresh.
Live HikaShop cart counter
The module connects directly to the active HikaShop cart and displays the current number of items.
You can choose how the counter calculates and displays the cart quantity. The counter can also be animated whenever its value changes, making new cart activity immediately visible to customers.
If preferred, the complete floating cart button can be hidden while the cart is empty.
Flexible screen positioning
The floating cart can be placed in one of four screen positions:
- Top left
- Top right
- Bottom left
- Bottom right
Horizontal and vertical distance controls allow you to position the button precisely in relation to the selected screen edges.
The Z-index option helps keep the cart visible above other website elements, including banners, fixed modules and template sections.
Direct access to checkout
Clicking the floating button can open a selected Joomla menu item or a custom checkout URL.
The custom URL option is especially useful when customers should be sent directly to a guest checkout page instead of a login or registration form.
An accessible link label can also be added to describe the button clearly for screen readers and other assistive technologies.
